U.S. government fast approaching its current $8.965 trillion credit limit

Congress has voted to raise to credit limit to $9.815 trillion. The current U.S. government doesn't seem able to do anything beside spend, spend and spend some more. This debt will be inherited by the children and grandchildren of the average Americans.

Saddam Hussein offered to leave Iraq 3 weeks prior to Bush's demand that he leave within 48 hours. All he asked was to keep 1 billion dollars of his own money.
