UCLA campus police officers repeatedly tasered a student inside a campus library after he loudly requested them not to touch him as they escorted him out of the building. He was asked to leave the library after he could not produce a student I.D. card, he began to leave but was stopped by a police officer who then grabbed his arm. The student, Mostafa Tabatabainejad, then requested them not to grab him, he repeated this loudly, after which they shocked him with a taser gun. He fell to the ground and was told to get to his feet, he refused and was repeatedly tasered again. He was quoted as saying "Here's your Patriot Act, here's your fucking abuse of power."
