Your Papers, Please...

How can this happen? What could possible account for this sudden creation of a national ID? The Senate passed the house bill that created a national ID. However, this was not the "true nature" of the bill, oh no. The Real ID Act was tacked onto the bill, because its supporters were so eager to get it through the House and Senate that having it held up in committee just wouldn't do. Despite the acts controversial nature, it was never, NOT ONCE, debated on the senate floor, nor even discussed in committee.
